SummitSkills is approved for SSC status

The
latest application for a Sector Skills Council (SSC) has been approved by the
Government.

SummitSkills,
the proposed SSC representing the electrotechnical, heating, ventilating, air
conditioning, refrigeration and plumbing industries has been given the go-ahead
to move into the next stage of its development.

The
Sector Skills Development Agency (SSDA) approved SummitSkills’ move into the
development phase at its board meeting on 20 November, and over the next four
months the organisation will work towards obtaining its SSC licence.
