It comes from the interaction of the people who make up the organisation and the things the organisation does: its recruitment, job design, communication, leadership, training, development and reward. At the centre of all this is the individual: their values, ambitions and skills. This white paper describes a single model that encapsulates the whole domain of managing performance. It draws together what are often unconnected HR activities and focuses attention both on the individual and on Performance – “The Performance Principle”.
