Volunteering
charity CSV is challenging businesses to make a difference to society by
donating employee time for one day a year.
The
charity’s ‘Make a Difference Day’ takes place on 25 October and the charity is
urging companies to give time, rather than money on 25 October.
Research
shows that 84 per cent of the public take community involvement into account
when forming an opinion of a business and CSV hopes the day will kick-start
more corporate social responsibility policies in the future.
The
charity hopes to involve more than 75,000 people in all sorts of work
beneficial to the community.
