High-performing
companies are at risk of losing their top senior executives after periods of
sustained business success.
Research
from consulting and coaching firm, White Water Strategies, has revealed that
many executives become bored and demotivated.
According
to Averil Leimon, director of White Water Strategies, senior-level domination
is a problem in all industries and is exacerbated by the economic cycle. “These
figures make worrying reading for successful companies,” said Leimon.
“They
are at risk of losing those driving their success. At some stage, they will
ask: ‘Is this it?’ and often blame their employer for their lack of drive.”
