An employment tribunal has upheld a ruling that ex-City lawyer Gill Switalski was the victim of sexual discrimination and harassment.
Switalski is claiming £12m in compensation from her former employer F&C Assets Management for forcing her to quit her £140,000-a-year job as head of the legal team.

In March 2008, a tribunal ruled she was the victim of sex discrimination and harassment by senior management at F&C. It said she was treated less favourably than a male colleague with a special-needs child. Switalski has one young son with cerebral palsy, and another who suffers from Asperger’s syndrome.
The firm had asked for earlier rulings to be reassessed on grounds that she misled managers
