Tube workers have been given a “final” pay offer by London Underground bosses in a bid to avert further strike action.
The deal would see about 25,000 staff get a 1.5% pay rise this year, with 2010 pay linked to RPI inflation plus 0.5%.
The offer is worth an extra 0.5% to workers this year and aims to resolve a long-running pay and jobs dispute that has already seen a 48-hour strike.
London Underground said: “We would now expect all unions to accept this final offer and recommend it to their memberships.”

The RMT union, which represents staff, said the offer was under consideration.
