Tyne and Wear Metro staff vote to strike

Tyne
and Wear Metro staff today voted in favour of a six-day stoppage next week.

Nine
out of 10 control room employees voted in favour of industrial action over job
grading, changes in responsibility and revised rostas after job losses.

A
further five-day strike is scheduled for the autumn.
