A
private delegation of businesses interested in developing trade and business
links in Iraq is being organised to visit the country.
According
to The Risk Advisory Group (TRAG), a business and risk assessment consultancy,
the first Government-sponsored trade delegation is unlikely to happen for weeks
or months.
TRAG
is organising visits, and, since the end of the war, has had specialist teams
operating in Iraq to establish support networks for businesses, assess the
security situation and prove routes to Baghdad and Basra.
