Despite
the drive for workplace sexual equality, the majority of UK workers would still
prefer to work for a male boss, according to new research.
A
poll for recruitment website Monster found that although the majority didn’t
mind what sex their boss was, most voters still indicated a preference for men.
Both
sexes indicated male bosses were preferable, with 60 per cent of men voting for
a male boss and 77 per cent of women doing likewise.

The
survey looked at the opinions of nearly 3,500 employees in the UK and mirrored
similar results in Europe.
