UK’s first HR comparison site attracts niche vendors

Up-and-coming HRIS software providers have welcomed the launch of the UK’s first HRIS comparison website, HRComparison.

While some of the biggest names in UK HRIS software, including NorthgateArinso, COA and Ceridian are set to launch on HRComparison, smaller companies say the site will provide the ideal vending platform.

Ryan Waterson, of Minerva Business Systems, said: “Trying to find the right HR software can be a difficult task, so HRComparison.com is a perfect way to ensure you get the most relevant package for your needs. In terms of those advertising it ensures it gets the correct clientele pointed towards their products. A win – win scenario.”

John Ball, business development manager of CTM Communications said: “We are truly excited to be involved in the inauguration of the HRcomparsion.com website, it promises to be a truly worthwhile HR tool that will benefit business for many years to come.”

Other UK companies set to take part on HRcomparison, dubbed ‘the biggest revolution in HRIS in decades’, include Carval and Select Software.

Andrew Court, Cascade HR’s marketing manager, added to the praise. He said: “The HR and payroll software market place is populated with antiquated software solutions, this portal will give individuals the opportunity to differentiate between those systems and modern solutions that offer greater benefits. “

As well as the UK’s biggest software vendors, HRcomparison has attracted well-established companies, all in favour of the new opportunity.

Kanchan Kumar from Fluous, one of the companies to launch on the site on June 15, said: “HRcomparison will make the entire system selection exercise not just easier but more objective as well. Most organisations look out for the best product, whereas what they need is the right solution – the difference between the two is not easily understood.”

Mitrefinch’s marketing manager Jo Little said: “HRComparison is an exciting new site offering a different perspective on software solutions. We are very happy to be participating in the launch of the site.”

Established in 1979, Mitrefinch is one of the UK’s leading and most experienced providers of time and attendance and human resource management software.

From June 15, HR professionals will be able to log onto HRcomparison and take an easy-to-follow questionnaire aimed at fine-tuning software to meet their exact needs.

Questions will include the type of application required – HR, payroll or time and attendance – as well as modules on absence, training and recruitment.

The results provide a graded list of the best software providers for organisations of any size or sector.

CEO Denis Barnard said: “The site is a wonderful opportunity for up-and-coming business to open the gate a huge potential audience. I’ve been overwhelmed by the support shown by the vendors in the launch of HRcomparison”

As well as providing the best potential software supplier, HRComparison is bursting with a tips, a glossary and the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of buying HRIS software, he added.

Barnard continued: “We’re replacing a lot of time-consuming research with a method that gives all the answers from the comfort of your desk. Decision makers now have HRIS solutions at their fingertips.”
