Union seniors face suspension after ‘barbecue brawl’

Senior
figures in the train drivers’ union Aslef may face suspension after an alleged
brawl at a barbecue.

According
to The Guardian, the fight allegedly erupted at a party on Thursday at a block
of union-owned flats in Hampstead.

An
Aslef spokesman told the newspaper: "A serious complaint has been raised
about the conduct of the president, which will now be considered by the EC
[executive committee]. We are not likely to offer any further comment until
after the EC meeting."
