Video Arts appoints Client Services Manager

Video Arts, which runs the world’s biggest library of online video clips for corporate training, has appointed Gerry Quirke as Client Services Manager.

 

In his new role, Gerry will help clients to utilise their digital video and e-learning resources, design tailored learning for their in-house environment, market their resources internally and demonstrate a return on investment.

 

Martin Addison, CEO of Video Arts, said: “Gerry has spent 22 years managing learning initiatives for multi-site UK companies and global businesses. His consulting experience and extensive knowledge of the e-learning market will help us to meet ever increasing client demand for these services.”

 

Gerry joins from SkillSoft, where – as a Senior Learning Consultant – he project managed a global roll-out of e-learning courseware across 32 countries. Prior to this, he was the UK Business Group Leader at CrossKnowledge, responsible for retaining and growing the client base.

 

In his early career, he worked as a Distance Learning e-Business Consultant for IBM, where he managed and developed relationships with customers, and business partners, and coordinated activity across 28 UK learning centres. He then spent seven years at Thomson NETg, latterly as a Senior Learning Consultant, where he supported clients and led IT, personal development and leadership training programmes. He was recognised as the company’s International Learning Consultant of the Year in 2004 and 2005.
