Who’s installing what

Bristol
International Airport is installing Select Software’s integrated HR and payroll
solution. Passenger traffic is on track to reach four million this year and it
has been recruiting for 200 jobs. "It’s important for us to make use of Select
HR’s automatic messaging facility, Pro-active, to aid efficiency within HR and
streamline communications," says the HR manager Paul Howlett.  www.selecthr.co.uk

The
Department for Education and Skills has signed a contract worth £700,000 with
Computa-center, which will include Midland HR’s Trent software solution. It
secured the contract through Computacenter under the terms of the GCat IT
catalogue, designed to provide public sector organisations with a quick and

Suite as part of a major business transformation. It will run across the

Swedish
engineering group Sandvik is implementing Peoplesoft’s Human Capital Management
(HCM) solution to manage its HR and personnel information for 37,000 global
employees. It aims to cut down paperwork, decentralise staff admin and create
