The search is on for high-flying women who could be nominated for the
European Women of Achievement Awards.
The organiser, the European Union of Women, has made a point of encouraging
HR managers to apply.
Granada’s Group HR director, Stephanie Monk CBE, is chairman of the judging
panel.
The awards recognise outstanding achievement among women in five key
categories – arts, business, entrepreneur, humanitarian and professional.
IBM is overall sponsor with Arthur Andersen, BAe Systems, Ford of Europe,
Granada and Oracle sponsoring individual categories.

Nominations should be put forward for women with an outstanding European
focus to their activities together with significant achievement in their chosen
field. The judges will look for evidence of women pioneers who are able to
overcome obstacles and demonstrate personal commitment and determination.
