Mike Burton is to leave his role as executive HR director at foodservice company Compass Group UK & Ireland.
Current Woolworths Group HR director, Robin Mills, will replace Burton as HR director in early March.
He will oversee a 95-strong department and continue to implement training and development of 66,000 employees at 7,000 client sites. Mills will also oversee recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits.
Burton joined Compass in 1999 as HR director, followed by a role as executive director, HR, in 2005. He also currently serves on the board of trustees, People 1st, the sector skills council for the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industries. It is not yet been established where he is moving on to.

Mills, who has also worked for drinks giant Diageo and brewer Scottish & Newcastle, will report directly to UK & Ireland chief executive Ian El-Mokadem.
El-Mokadem said: “I’m delighted to welcome Robin to our team. He brings an extensive HR experience coupled with a strong commercial orientation.”
