XpertHR crowned best business media brand of the year

The XpertHR Group, which includes Personnel Today, was named business media brand of the year last night at the PPA Awards, the most coveted awards in the UK magazine industry.

The award praised the team for building a substantial portfolio of print, online and face-to-face products, spanning weekly and monthly magazines, awards, events, a community website and a subscription-based online service.

The judges said: “XpertHR showed a radical approach to moving the brand to meet the dynamics of its market – a compelling and impressive example of brand diversification.”

Also on the night, the group’s publishing director Ed Dimbylow won a special commendation in the category of business publisher of the year.

The awards were announced in a 1920s-themed ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House hotel last night (30 June), hosted by comedian Dara O’Briain.
