Young
managers focus on their retirement when they assess a company benefits package,
according to research by the Chartered Institute of Management.
Great
Expectations? What the Future Holds for Young Managers reveals that 62 per cent
of the 480 young managers questioned believe that pension schemes are the most
attractive company benefit.
Just
under half feel that private healthcare is an important part of the benefits
package and more than a third want the use of a company car.
These
three benefits are also the options that companies are most likely to offer to
young managers. They are followed by less traditional benefits like childcare
support and share options.
