All younger managers are interested in working from home and half want to
retire early, according to an attitudes survey carried out by Management Today.
Out of 18- to 34-year-old managers, 100 per cent said they would be
interested in working at least part-time from home, and 55 per cent said they
want to retire at the age of 55.
Managers rated job satisfaction and responsibility as the most important
issues to them, with a "job for life" coming bottom.
The vast majority of managers also see career development as their own
responsibility.
