Tribunal watch: South Lanarkshire Council settles long-running equal pay claim

A weekly round-up of links to stories about employment tribunals reported the previous week. In the week beginning 24 February 2014, it was announced that South Lanarkshire Council has settled its equal pay dispute involving more than 3,000 people.

South Lanarkshire Council settles equal pay dispute South Lanarkshire Council has settled a long-running equal pay dispute, reports the BBC. The case reached the Supreme Court in 2013 over whether or not the local authority could keep pay scales from equal pay campaigners who made a Freedom of Information request.
