Employees with poorly controlled asthma have negative health outcomes, according to this US study of 2,026 sufferers taking prescription medicines. Around 40% had poorly controlled asthma that affected both their quality of life and work activity. This group also used more healthcare than those with well-controlled asthma, the study concludes.
