The British Association of Communicators in Business (CiB) has announced a top line-up for the keynote panel debate session at its annual conference in Birmingham on 21 May.
Business leaders and opinion formers will give their views on the future of internal communication, what they expect from communicators, the impact of the current economic climate and how to strengthen the function now and for the future.
The panel for the Futureproofing internal communication session are:0
· David Fairhurst, Senior Vice President People (Northern Europe) for McDonald’s Restaurants. Amongst many accolades for his achievements, he was named HR Magazine’s ‘most influential person in human resources’ and CiB Business Communicator of the Year in 2008.
· Ben Page, Managing Director of Ipsos MORI Public Affairs and Chairman of the Ipsos MORI Social Research Institute. He was named one of the ‘100 most influential people in the public sector’ by The Guardian and ‘one of the 50 most influential people in local government’ by Local Government Chronicle.
· Geoff Walker is Chief Executive at Sandwell Community Caring Trust, which recently came second in the Sunday Times list of the 100 best places to work in the UK.

· Susan Clews, Director of Knowledge at Acas. This arbitration and conciliation body has been in the spotlight in recent months, providing assistance in resolving major industrial disputes.
