The Personnel Today Awards recognise the outstanding efforts of HR, L&D and recruitment professionals that have made a real difference with their people policies.

Their achievements will be celebrated at a glittering awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane on 19 November 2019.

This year sees the introduction of a new category – the Sustainable Business Award – which recognises organisations that have made a positive impact on the environment, the economy, their local community and wider society. It joins established categories including HR Director of the Year, HR Team of the Year and the Employer Branding Award.

“We have had a fantastic response from the HR profession, so we would like to give them more time to showcase their achievements and perfect their entries,” said Rob Moss, editor of Personnel Today.

Last year’s winners included University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust, which won the Employee Engagement Award after an outstanding cultural transformation; William Hill, which took home the HR Team of the Year title following its biggest ever restructure; and Kent Police and Essex Police for their efforts to increase staff resilience in a challenging environment.

A full list of the 21 categories and their judging criteria can be found on the Personnel Today Awards website. Entrants can enter the same piece of work into multiple categories, as long as they meet the criteria.

Each category is judged by an independent panel of industry experts and the shortlist will be announced later this summer.
