Croner chooses Networx recruitment managment system

by Personnel Today 16 May 2007
by Personnel Today 16 May 2007

Networx‘s recruitment management system, apoint+, has been chosen as provider to information and consultancy provider Wolters Kluwer, parent company of Croner.

Handling on average over 30 vacancies per month, the UK business was in need of a management tool to help deliver substantial benefits to a relatively small recruitment resource including improved efficiency and reduced time and cost spent on recruitment.

apoint+ is a simple but innovative system designed to provide companies with a means of handling the entire recruitment process more efficiently. With the anticipated management of more than 4,000 applications per annum, the system will centralise recruitment activity by driving all candidates through to a newly developed careers section on the Wolters Kluwer UK corporate website.

With a focus on improving the candidate experience, jobseekers will be able to find relevant information regarding the latest vacancies and apply directly online. A role specific application form presents applicants with the opportunity to provide further details in support of their CV and upon submission acknowledgements are sent upon receipt of their information to complete the application process.

As well as improving the recruitment process for the candidate, Wolters Kluwer UK will also gain more control through the back office of apoint+, the recruitment management system will assist in the administration and organistation of the cycle.

With implementation due to be completed within the next couple of months, Wolters Kluwer UK human resources director Andrew Ayers commented: “With the help of Networx’s recruitment management system, apoint+, we will hopefully create an efficient and pleasant recruitment experience which not only reflects the modern day job seeker but also delivers substantial benefits to us as a business.”

Commenting on this recent account win, director of Networx Andy Pierson said: “Despite the simplicity of the apoint+ implementation the system will provide a whole host of benefits to Wolters Kluwer UK.

“We hope to refresh their existing careers section and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process for both them and their candidates. Wolters Kluwer UK is a great name to be associated with and we are thrilled to act as their recruitment solutions provider at this time.”

Wolters Kluwer is a global player in information services and publishing. Employing more than 18,400 people and with operations in over 26 countries, annual revenues for 2006 were reported to be over EUR3.4bn.
