Vanessa Boon to launch Energise consultancy

by Personnel Today 14 May 2007
by Personnel Today 14 May 2007

Vanessa Boon, who earned the CIPD Police Forum Award for HR Excellence for Derbyshire Constabulary last year, will launch her new consultancy Energise on 23 May.

Energise will offer a range of services in the field of diversity and people development.

“I am delighted to announce the launch of this new service, which will offer HR Departments a helping hand with challenging issues in diversity and career development for staff,” said Boon.

“With growing recognition of the business benefits of diversity and a shrinking labour market, retention and development of a diverse workforce has emerged as a priority for long-term business success”.

To mark the launch of Energise, there will be a free lunchtime event for HR practitioners in the Midlands from 12-2pm on 23 May including a ‘hot topics’ input.

Guests will have the chance to sign up for a free development taster session for their workforce, choosing either a Career Development Surgery or the award-winning Springboard programme.

There will also be an opportunity to network with other HR professionals over a buffet lunch at the Days Hotel, Derbyshire County Cricket Ground.

Places at the launch event are limited, so readers are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. For more information and to book a place at this event, please contact Vanessa by e-mail at [email protected] or submit a query on-line.
