Retaining staff tops HR agenda for 2007, Manpower survey reveals

Staff retention is the top HR priority for UK employers in 2007, research published today has revealed. 

Adapting to legislation and dealing with absence management are also significant issues for UK businesses – in particular for medium-sized and large organisations.

The study of more than 1,700 UK employers, by recruitment firm Manpower, revealed that 72% of businesses believe that holding on to staff will be an HR priority for the year. This concern is shared by all businesses and organisations, irrespective of size.
