Power firm moves to online graduate selection

E.ON UK, the company that runs energy supplier Powergen, is using online tests to select its 2006 graduate intake.

The testing was introduced to meet increased business demand for graduate recruits. In 2006, the company expects to fill about 50 places.

“We have completely redesigned our approach to graduate selection to ensure we recruit the right people and to build our employer brand,” said Catherine Skirrow, who is managing E.ON’s graduate recruitment campaign.
