Staff at KPMG, one of Britain’s ‘big four’ accountancy firms, are in store for bumper Christmas bonuses.
The firm will pay its 8,950 UK employees a total bonus of £59m (an average of £6,592 each), compared with £35m last year.
Head of KPMG, John Griffith-Jones, said: “We have had a very successful year and are delighted to reward our people with record levels of bonus payments.”
The firm has seen revenues up 20% to £1.28bn for the 12 months to the end of September.
The company has nearly 94,000 staff in 148 countries.
