The Priory Group, one of Europe’s leading providers of acute and secure mental healthcare, rehabilitation and education, is implementing a blended learning and development programme for all new recruits. Called Foundation for Growth, it blends bespoke and generic e-learning materials with classroom training and coaching, and will be rolled out to The Priory’s 42 sites throughout the UK.

Leading business process outsourcing company ClientLogic is rolling out a global training initiative to boost the skills of customer care agents. It is working with colleges and universities throughout the US, Europe and India to implement management courses, degrees and certificates as part of the scheme.

Norwich Union Central Services, part of the UK’s largest insurance group, has appointed QA to manage the delivery of all of its technical training. While the training is classroom based, many of the processes behind the delivery are web-based, including an online booking system.

E-learning specialist DESQ is working with ZOOtech, creator of the revolutionary DVD-extra development technology, to build interactive educational and learning titles that will play on a standard DVD player. It is anticipated that DESQ’s first DVD e-learning products will be released in the final quarter of this year.
