Supplement is just the job for local authority

Brent Council is the first local authority in UK to launch own jobs supplement.

In a bid to increase the visibility of local authority jobs available to the wider community, Brent Council has this month launched its own publication specifically advertising jobs, The Job Shop.

Aimed at improving public access to Brent Council jobs, the free new supplement will be circulated with the existing Brent Magazine which is distributed to the borough’s 100,000 households every month.

Brent business development officer, Kirsten Lea, said: “The launch of our new jobs supplement gives us a fresh opportunity to speak to residents and local businesses in a totally new way, which we hope will bring a new energy to the work we are already doing to connect with the many communities across Brent.”
