BMW exec scheme

BMW Great Britain has launched a training and development scheme with 750
new sales executives. The new staff are all aged between 18 and 24, and will be
training for the next two years. The programme is designed to help build the skills
and knowledge of the recruits, so that they can sell cars competently across

Co-op training plan

The North East and Cumbrian Co-op has introduced a new year-long store
management training course for its staff. The first nine candidates will start
the scheme in January to help develop a talent pool for future promotions. The
programme will cover team building, motivation, communication, assertiveness,
customer focus and time management. The group runs 140 stores in the North of
