Muslim reservist loses appeal over refusing call-up

A
Muslim RAF reservist who was disciplined after refusing a call-up to the Iraq
war because of his religious beliefs has lost his appeal.

Leading
Aircraftsman Mohisin Khan, 24, admitted to being absent without leave, but
claimed he would ‘go to hell’ if he fought against other Muslims.

Khan
lost seven days’ privileges and nine days of pay after failing to report for
duty at RAF Honington in Suffolk in February and March.
