Linda Holbeche to move from Work Foundation to Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

Linda Holbeche is to join the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) as research and policy director. 

She replaces Duncan Brown, who is joining Pricewaterhouse
Coopers, and will take up the post in June.

Holbeche joins from the Work Foundation think tank, where she is director of leadership and consultancy. She was previously director of research and strategy at Roffey Park Institute for 12 years.
 
She will be responsible for leading the CIPD’s management research programme and heads a 40-strong team.

Holbeche said: “I relish the opportunity to work with the CIPD team and the institute’s 127,000 members to translate knowledge into practice, and practice into performance.”
