Marshall Aerospace Business Aviation is to open a £10m training facility for aviation engineers.
The Integrated National Aviation Training Academy is based at Robin Hood Airport in Sheffield. The facility has been built by aviation training firm Directions Finningley with funds from regional development agency Yorkshire Forward and the European Union.

The academy already delivers 150 aviation-related courses and will be capable of both aerospace manufacturing type-rated approval courses and engineer licence education and qualifying.
Richard Smith, managing director of Directions, said: “The arrival of Marshall Aerospace will bring a new dynamic to the region through its industry-renowned training expertise and its world-leading maintenance, repair and overhaul activity and we look forward to working with it on both these two key business areas.”
