Two Anglia TV reporters who were selected for redundancy are to launch unfair dismissal claims against the broadcaster over allegations of age discrimination.
Dianne Stradling and Rebecca Atherstone both claim they were replaced because they were over 50, reports the Evening Star.
They were told their positions had become redundant, but were allegedly replaced by a younger person doing the same role but with a different title, the pair will allege at tribunal.

Anglia TV’s parent company ITV refused to comment ahead of legal proceedings.
Earlier this year Anglia embarked on a major restructuring programme, cutting about 30 jobs as part of plans to merge its east and west programmes.
