On the occasion of her retirement as OH manager at Tesco Stores,
Baker-Rogers reflected on a career that has taken her from glue factory nurse
to OH manager at the UK’s number one grocer. She looked at how the profession
has evolved during her three decades of practice in a wide variety of jobs
spanning a range of sectors from the NHS to private health care, commercial
organisations and industry.
Change has created challenges for the profession, she said, but occupational
health nurses were making a difference.
