Strikes by hundreds of BBC production staff have been called off after a new offer was tabled in a jobs dispute.
About 500 Bectu and National Union of Journalists (NUJ) members had been due to walk out on 15 and 23 February, threatening disruption to radio shows.
The unions are in dispute over plans to merge a number of production jobs into a single role.

Bectu said the action had been called off to allow workers to be consulted about the new offer from the BBC.
The NUJ and Bectu staged a one-day strike last May over the corporationÕs plans to save £355m a year, including through job cuts.
