British
Airways is due meet with unions today after an unofficial strike over the
weekend caused chaos.
Ticket
and baggage-handling staff at Heathrow Airport walked out on Friday, causing
hundreds of flights to be cancelled.
The
three unions involved are the Transport and General Workers’ Union (T&G),
GMB and Amicus.
Staff
walked out over the planned introduction of a swipe card entry system which
allows managers to monitor staff working hours.
