The mission to the Red Planet is the first to be run by the European Space
Agency (ESA) and aims, among other things, to investigate the possibility of
life and water on Mars.
The VEGA group spent the last five months training the flight operations
engineers to fly the craft, using a simulator specially designed for the
project. The firm will also be providing engineers and support for the duration
of the mission.
