Bullhorn UK celebrates first birthday with three contract wins

by Personnel Today 5 Jul 2010
by Personnel Today 5 Jul 2010

The global leader in on-demand, front office recruitment software, Bullhorn, celebrates the anniversary of its launch in Britain this month.  The occasion marks the end of a prolific first year of trading, which has seen considerable expansion since the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) specialist opened its UK headquarters last year.

This growth is bolstered further by today’s announcement of new contracts with three London-based recruitment firms: award-winning travel recruiter C&M and leading media and digital recruitment agencies, round8 and Lipton Fleming.  David Robinson, Commercial Director, C&M, commented: “With busy offices in London, Manchester and Sydney, we needed a fully-integrated system that would enable our recruiters to work from multiple locations; Bullhorn’s SaaS platform allows the team to fulfil client requirements from anywhere with just an internet connection and web browser.”

All three agencies will use Bullhorn’s web-based recruitment software to manage their day-to-day business activity, and will add to the company’s burgeoning UK client base, bringing its current total to over 50.  Bullhorn’s email, CRM and calendaring combined with the applicant and candidate tracking functions facilitate maximum efficiency, catering for a recruiter’s every need in one fully-integrated solution. Recruiters using Bullhorn achieve the highest placement rates in the industry.

In recognition of its rapidly-increasing number of clients, Bullhorn has announced the addition of two new dedicated support staff at its European headquarters in London this month.  Peter Linas, UK Managing Director, Bullhorn, remarked: “I am delighted to welcome the new members of the UK team. At Bullhorn, we pride ourselves on delivering 24-hour support, and the expansion of the London team shows our dedication to maintaining this at the highest level for our UK clients.

“More and more recruitment agencies in this country are looking to SaaS as a way of reducing IT spend and increasing productivity; the Bullhorn platform’s intuitive interface and 360° visibility means it is emerging as the sector’s natural first choice.  We now look forward to helping even more UK recruiters achieve their full potential, and would like to extend our thanks to the UK clients who are already benefiting from the online platform. We’re glad their faith has been repaid and we look forward to supporting them and the UK recruitment sector in our second year.”

Last month also saw the appointment of eBay veteran, Chris Lalonde, as Bullhorn’s Vice President of Technical Operations and Infrastructure. Lalonde’s extensive experience building mission-critical systems will be critical as he leads the efforts to strengthen and expand the Bullhorn platform in support of the company’s international growth.
