Call centres adapt to fight overseas exodus

The latest joint study by IRS and the Call Centre Association shows that
both the starting and maximum salaries in the call centre industry have risen sharply
in the past year. Awards are well above the typical 3 per cent basic pay deal –
and 73.5 per cent of call centre employers said they plan introduce new
procedures to deal with requests for flexible working as a result of the recent
legislative change.
