Equal opportunities campaigners should unite their efforts and even consider
forming a single agency, Peugeot head of personnel Mike Judge has claimed.

Writing in this week’s Personnel Today, Judge says that HR practitioners are
faced with an array of over 40 separate agencies and pressure groups.
"Each one claims priority, each argues a perfectly reasoned case as to
why organisations should take the particular issue seriously," he writes.
"Is it really beyond the wit of man to combine all equal opportunities
under one broad agency." He adds that small businesses in particular are
faced with competing demands from campaigners.
