Working
Links – the organisation set up to get the long-term unemployed back to work –
has launched a new charity to build on its community projects across the UK.
The
Links Foundation, an independent registered charity, aims to make it easier for
local projects to access funding without having to contend with complex rules
and procedures.
The
charity’s board will decide which projects to fund and will maintain contact
with selected initiatives to ensure effective use of the funds.
