Childcare vouchers: a hub of advice from Edenred

Edenred, which helps organisations engage and motivate people for enhanced performance, has launched a series of online tools to support businesses in the run up to the changes to Childcare Vouchers legislation.

This support takes the form of a free downloadable whitepaper, informative articles and a podcast from Laura Czapiewski, Product Manager for Childcare Vouchers at Edenred. The childcare voucher toolkit can be found on E.Hub, Edenred’s online resource of information and knowledge exchange located at http://ehub.edenred.co.uk. The website also offers visitors the opportunity to pose questions directly to the experts or comment on areas of interest.

In the podcast, Laura gives an overview of the changes and answers questions about who will be affected and what employers need to do now ahead of the changes on 6 April, to ensure that all staff have the opportunity to gain maximum benefit from the childcare vouchers once the new legislation comes into force.

The article, Communicating the Tax Changes on Childcare Vouchers, details the benefits of outlining the changes to staff in order to maximise savings for employers and employees, and ensure the new legislation is introduced seamlessly.

The importance of communication is explored further, along with detailed information and case studies in the white paper Childcare Vouchers – Increasing scheme engagement.

Laura Czapiewski explains:

“The 6 April marks one of the biggest changes to childcare vouchers in recent years and employers need to prepare for this. As the pioneer of the UK’s first childcare voucher scheme, we have built up a wealth of expertise and are in a prime position to support businesses to ensure they can make their staff aware of the changes and gain the maximum savings.

“We work with childcare voucher providers to ensure their system changes are implemented quickly and easily so staff receive the right level of benefit once the new legislation is in place.

“As part of Edenred’s commitment to innovation and excellence, we have developed E-Hub to be the ultimate source of information and advice on a variety of businesses issues including the changes to childcare voucher legislation.”

The childcare voucher toolkit can be found at http://ehub.edenred.co.uk. The website features a range of in-depth information and news in a wide range of rich formats such as downloadable white papers, podcasts, vodcasts, videos and opinion polls.
