Commerce chamber adopts incentives scheme

Thames
Valley Chambers of Commerce has included more than 1,000 discounted services in
its staff benefit package to recruit retain and motivate employees.

Staff
can receive up to 50 per cent discount on items including holidays, TVs,
fridges, bungee jumping and anything left handed. 

Employees
are able to view and purchase the discounted items via the intranet site.

Judy
Pye, Chamber commercial manager, believes the move will help the chambers in
the war for talent. “The ongoing recruitment, motivation and retention battle
is a common challenge that all our members face and the discounted services
will benefit all our staff.”
