Cornerstone OnDemand, the specialist in on-demand, integrated learning and talent management software and services, today announced that the company’s European general manager, Vincent Belliveau, will be among the keynote speakers opening next week’s iLearning Forum.
Monday morning, Belliveau will address the delegate conference regarding the emerging role of enterprise social networks for developing and retaining talent.
“Shifting business conditions and the global economic downturn are requiring organisations to reevaluate the way they are developing and retaining employees, especially for critical roles,” said Vincent Belliveau, General Manager, EMEA, Cornerstone OnDemand.
“While learning management is still essential, more companies are taking an integrated approach, including the use of social networks and Web 2.0 tools in practical but strategic ways. Not only do these tools help to foster social learning and knowledge sharing, they also encourage employee collaboration.”
Now in its fourth year, the iLearning Forum welcomes policy-makers, human resource managers, learning practitioners, researchers, and suppliers of learning technology solutions from around the globe to explore best practice in the use of learning technologies.
The theme of this year’s event is “Integrated Learning: Embedded learning technologies for individual and organisational development.”
In addition to Cornerstone’s opening keynote and exhibit (booth no. 29), the company is running a series of workshops throughout the conference. Cornerstone’s conference workshops’ include:
