I agree that the government should defend the Working Time Directive opt-out. Unfortunately, I believe the government will back the EU’s decision to end it.

I feel the government believes that if businesses have to restrict the amount of hours their employees work, they will have to get more people in to get the work done. I believe the government’s aim is to reduce unemployment.
