Nearly 80 per cent of company
directors stay in close contact with the office when on holiday, according to
research.
A survey of 2,000 business directors
by Marcus Bohn Associates shows that over two-thirds of directors use their
mobile phone to keep in touch with their place of work whenever they travel.
The survey shows that
technology-related activities topped the list of most stressful activities,
with 76 per cent of directors citing the failure of their entire IT network as
the worst.
Over 30 per cent of directors take
over a day to reply to emails. Faxes also took a day’s response from more than
three-quarters of directors surveyed.
