DTI issues guidance on new maternity regulations

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has published guidance for employers and employees on maternity leave regulations under the Work and Families Act 2006.

The guidance outlines the notice requirements to be given to the employer and the introduction of ‘keeping-in-touch’ days for women whose expected date of childbirth is on or after 1 April 2007.
