A poll undertaken by recruitment site jobchannel.tv reveals that 68 per cent of employees feel that e-mail has distanced them from their colleagues, with some receiving more than 200 a day. The site’s analysis also suggests that e-mail has extended the working day due to staff’s 24-hour availability.
Lawson launches ijob upgrade
Lawson Software has released version 5.0 of its ijob e-recruitment management package. The improved version includes new search engine technology, a CV management system and enhancements to the relationship management functions. ijob facilitates job posting, profiling, CV management, matching, tracking and hiring.
Eurobenefits and PWA in link-up
On-line employee benefits management system Eurobenefits and HR/payroll solutions provider PWA have linked up to offer their respective customers each other’s services.The companies will operate independently of each other with PWA offering Eurobenefits to its customers through PWA’s e-Xtend intranet suite and Eurobenefits offering PWA’s range of HR and payroll software packages.
