e-business in brief: employees feel alienated by e-mail

A poll undertaken by recruitment site jobchannel.tv reveals that 68 per cent of employees feel that e-mail has distanced them from their colleagues, with some receiving more than 200 a day. The site’s analysis also suggests that e-mail has extended the working day due to staff’s 24-hour availability.

Lawson launches ijob upgrade


Lawson Software has released version 5.0 of its ijob e-recruitment management package. The improved version includes new search engine technology, a CV management system and enhancements to the relationship management functions. ijob facilitates job posting, profiling, CV management, matching, tracking and hiring.

Eurobenefits and PWA in link-up
