Eyecare provision secured by Specsavers for Heineken

by Personnel Today 26 Jul 2011
by Personnel Today 26 Jul 2011

Heineken has appointed Specsavers Corporate Eyecare to provide eyecare for all staff.  Heineken is making use of both safety eyewear vouchers as well as VDU vouchers from Specsavers.  This will meet the eyecare needs of all 2,200 staff across its multiple sites in the UK.

Heineken, the UK’s leading beer and cider business, has selected Specsavers Corporate Eyecare as its provider of their eyecare because of reputation, cost-savings and the pre-paid voucher scheme.  It is also well aware of the benefits of experienced optometrists with expertise in prescribing high-quality safety glasses as well as regular prescription glasses.

Specsavers Corporate Eyecare not only prescribes eyewear to suit the specific needs of each individual user, its opticians also personally fit the glasses to ensure that eyewear is comfortable and fit for purpose.

Olivia Campbell, occupational health development manager at Heineken, says: ‘Specsavers’ eyecare vouchers offer good value for money, save on administration time and are easily distributed to our employees across our multi-site organisation in the UK.  Specsavers also has an excellent reputation, and it’s important to us to work with trusted companies.’

Heineken employees will also benefit from Specsavers Corporate Eyecare’s Premium Club vouchers. Offering a tangible employee benefit, the Premium Club vouchers are available free when ordering any combination of Specsavers Corporate Eyecare vouchers. Premium Club vouchers entitle the holder to a £20 discount on all glasses from the £99 range or above, including designer ranges.
